When you wake up in the morning do you think what can I have as a healthy breakfast? Despite the meal being regarded famously known as the most important meal of the day, there are a great number of people who skip breakfast, because of time, lack of knowing what to make and more more reasons.

We’re here to uncover the importance of breakfast and the benefits it provides us with your daily tasks, work and general wellbeing.

Here is some important information to know about breakfasts:

Keeping you focused and engaged:

Eating a healthy breakfast helps us feel more focused for the coming day, whether we are at work, completing an early morning exercise or simply wanting to feel better. Eating food in the morning not only fuels us until lunchtime but actually gives our brains the essential nutrients to achieve more.

It helps us to feel happier:

The foods we eat are intrinsically linked to our moods, therefore having breakfasts can help to perk you up in the morning and improve your motivation for the day ahead. This is because eating in the morning gives our bodies that essential boost to get us going and also balances blood sugars, helping our body to achieve a hormonal balance, creating a sense of Homeostasis.

Help to control your appetite:

Eating a controlling diet, making sure you calories you are eating are being burned off throughout the day, will help improve your metabolism. Ultimately by having breakfast and keeping it healthy it will help your appetite and stop bing eating.

Makes you have more energy:

It is simple really, if you are not eating you will feel less energised! We have to eat to get energy. So start your day off with energy and eat! Our bodies need energy to function, and that energy comes from food. As soon as we start eating in the morning, we kickstart our body chemistry which gets us feeling energised and ready for anything that comes in our way.
